Data Group, Inc. (RDG) was
founded as a division of Research Magazine in 1985.
Based in San Francisco, RDG was
originally named STAR Services, which was the data-division of Research
Magazine. RDG took its name and became an independent entity in 1998
when Research Magazine was sold. RDG continued to help public companies
fulfill the SEC requirement for a Total Return Performance Graph in DEF
14A filings. That rule was changed effective December 15, 2006, and the
graph is now required in the 10-K / Annual Report to Shareholders.
The client base has grown over the
years, and RDG has developed into the most trusted name and
industry-leader in Performance Graph production and custom peer group
calculation and analysis.
RDG now supports a client base of
over 1,000 public companies and is the only provider of all licensed
Major Market Index data from Dow Jones, Dow Jones US Total Stock Market, NASDAQ,
Russell, S&P, as well as NYSE Amex and TSX.
